Puseletso joined the ANC inspired by a fellow comrade

“I was inspired in 2012 to join our movement by Cde Paul Molutsi who was a Ward Councilor. He made us understand that the ANC needs people like us to work for the community and be members so that we can be well informed about things that are happening in government. Since then I started working for our organisation and played a big role to help a lot of people join the movement and we also have lots of supporters.”

“In 2013, I became a deputy chairperson of SANCO dealing with bread-and-butter issues”. In MDM structures, Puletso has been in the SACP and SANCO as a member and interacted with faith-based organizations, the CPF, and SGB’s.

What solutions and proposals will Puletso take to Council?

“I will encourage ongoing effective public consultations and give updates on matters of service delivery and introduce an effective media tool with all communities”

Puletso has taken a lead in matters affecting the community such as fighting against illegal land invasion and the illegal connection of municipal services. “I also take the lead in issues about public health, women, and children” …

What inspires Pule to continue with ANC activism?

“I am inspired by the ANC’s recent success in fighting crime and corruption and am also inspired by the educational support given to our children through NAFSAS”.
